Whale Watching
The whales migrate pass this stretch of coastline between the months of mid-May to mid-December annually, to calf and breed in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean , moving as far as Mozambique and Madagascar before making the journey back to the Antarctic. We need about 3 hours of your time, of which the actual tour duration is approximately 2 hours on the ocean, and then 30 minutes on either side to get you to-and-from the launch site. This in itself is an adventure, as you meet at a central booking office , from where you will be taken to the launch site with a 4 x 4 truck onto the beach. |

Turtle Tracking Turtle Tour Season (Nov-Mar) allows our
knowledgeable and very experienced guide, to take you on a magical and
life changing experience, to watch one of natures most amazing circles
of life the egg laying process of the leatherback and loggerhead sea
turtles. These turtles' instinct is so amazing, to think that they are
returning to their “place of birth”, after years at sea, to lay the next
batch of eggs. These tours run after sunset because the turtles only
come out the sea to lay their eggs after dark. We collect you at your accommodation and the tour lasts approx. 6 hours. |
